welcome to the pokemon fan region, the levala islands. this intermdiate pokemon role-play has a place for trainers and coordinators, alike, where they battle their pokemon againstwild ones to become the top trainers and coordinators of the islands.
if you want to be a staff member of the levala islands, them feel free to audition here. also, this board contains a board for staff only, so no members can see it.
when a staff member holds a contest or a promotional item, they will be located here. you don't have to join in, but you should; there's lots of cool prizes that you can win.
if you want to advertise your site on levala islands, you are free to do so, member or guest. the advertising board on your site must be guest friendly to allow our advertisement there. if affiliating, our banner must be on your site before you request affiliation.
personal computers, or pcs, are here so you can record your character's pokemon, items, achievements, and other information for easy access for yourself and other members.
here, you can find other members to play your character's family, rival, lover, etc. and make mini-plots with people. you can also make a character journal here, and a thread about your character's pokemon.
when you first arrive at levala islands, you will be brought here, to lynec harbor. it's on glycier island, and it's where you can get your first pokemon from professor alec ray.
claudryn town is a rather small town, and there's really nothing to see here. it has no gym or contest hall, but has many trainers who are willing to battle you, and some other people may give you some tips in training and coordinating.
leniar cave is rather bright for a cave, apearing as if an eternal twilight has set inside. the cave is cold, and in many places, ice covers the walls. ice-type pokemon love to hide in the deep crevices in the walls, but you won't see a single grass-type here. a strange pokemon was also sighted here, and, if you're lucky, you might see it. or, better yet, catch it.
flarell forest is a thick forest, but there's paths cut for skiers and snowboarders. it's a popular place, and you can meet a lot of people here. there are also hiking trails, so you can take the road less traveled and hike through the forest on this route. many ice pokemon reside here, as well as a few grass, when the temperature is higher.
faralyn city is the first big city on your way through glycier island. it's also the first city that has a contest hall and a gym. the city is bustling, and it's very uncommon that someone won't end up talking to you, or asking your help.
reliac cave, named from 'relic' is dark and lengthy, and the first thing you see when you get to ralen island. it's teeming with pokemon, despite the dark entrance, and many will jump at the chance to battle you. if you're lucky, you may stumble upon the ancient relic said to be in the heart of the cave.
a small town greets you as you exit reliac cave: but a few people, only around fifteen, live here. niko town, named after the founder, john niko, is actually a big hit: john niko sells strange fossils, of what could be pokemon. if you're wealthy enough to buy one, it'd be great to go to reignyn city on the other side of the mellinium forest to try to get it restored.
mellinium forest is rather bright, though it seems as if the sun would fade from going through the thick and leafy trees. small paths go throughout the forest, but some lead in circles or to dead ends: there is only one that will take you to the next city, but it's only marked every so often.
reignyn city, a bustling one at that, is home to the famous fossil restoration processes. the second gym and contest hall are located here, as well as many citizens who will likely ask you for help. they're the 'upper-class' society, and don't like to get down and dirty, and usually over-react.
a place where trainers and coordinators can go to plant, care for, and harvest berries is open to all. there are huge plots of land for berry planting, and also a berry shop, if you don't have any yet. inside the shop, there are poke-block and poffin makers, so you can try to make the best for your pokemon.
the pokemarket is like a huge gathering of pokemarts that sell many different things, from pokeballs to potions. there is also a place where you can set up shop, and sell or auction pokemon and items.
another highlight of the levala islands is the adoption centre. here, you may drop off your unwanted pokemon, or adopt one that has been abandoned. they are a slight fee, though, so the adoption centre can care for the other abandoned pokemon.
if you're busy, but still want your pokemon to be trained, you can drop them off here, but for a fee of course. the day-care centre's staff is nice, and they happily train up to two of your pokemon for up to seven days.
when you're not having very good luck catching pokemon out in the wild, you can come to the safari zone to try your luck. there's a small entry fee to go in, and you only have a limited amount of time in there, but you can keep all the pokemon you catch. you can't take your pokemon in, though: you must catch pokemon with the safari balls you are given.
at the trading centre, you can trade your pokemon for another member's pokemon, free of charge. trade-backs are okay, in such instance that you trade the pokemon just to evolve it, or you would like your pokemon back.
in the pay-out shop, the owner offers many ways for you to make money. if you need some extra levala credits filling your pockets, this is definitely the place to come.

autumn, or fall, brings with it colder weather, and a change in the color of leaves. for pokemon, the ice-type can be seen more often, along with the fire-types. the dark- and ghost-types are getting less and less common, leaving for caves and underground caverns, along with the ground-types. the grass-types have been seen a lot, gathering the warmth before winter, but are steadily decreasing in number. and, strangely enough, many dragon-types have been seen. keep your eyes peeled, trainers!
